U5 Clinic

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”left-to-right”]Designed for children starting kindergarten in the fall, the goal is to introduce the game of soccer through age-appropriate activities. Players will learn the basics of dribbling, shooting and team play in a fun and engaging way. Much like the U6 program, professional and volunteer coaches will lead the children. This 6 week program will focus on having fun and building a love of the game rather than winning and losing.

Session Format
Each session will last 60 minutes and we will guide children through activities that emphasize age appropriate skills by playing games like:

  • Red Light, Green Light
  • Freeze tag
  • Pirate Ship
  • Minnows and Sharks

Each session will end with a short scrimmage.

For the safety of the children, there is no jewelry allowed on the playing field. This means no necklaces, bracelets or earrings. Earrings in particular are potentially dangerous when worn while playing soccer and must be removed without exception.

We allow medical bracelets when necessary.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
